 Dr. Roderic Gillilan’s  SEE SIck Syndrome related activities

  • Doctor of Optometry degree from of Pacific University College of Optometry 1956
  • Practiced optometry in US Army 1956-1958
  • Private practice in Eugene, Oregon 1958 through 2000
  • Discovered the SSS condition and successfully treated the first SSS patient in 1965
  • Personally trained  several hundred  SSS patients from 1965 thru 2000
  • Conducted motion sickness research project involving 1,250  Eugene, OR high school subjects 1985
  • Authored The Gillilan SEE Sick Syndrome article, Oregon Optometry -1979
  • Authored and published The Optometric Management of Motion Sickness – 1984
  • Co-authored Vision Therapy as A Treament for Motion Sickness – peer reviewed Journal of the American Optometric Association – 1986
  • Co-produced Pacific University College of Optometry on-line doctor continuing education course – The SEE Sick Syndrome: It’s Diagnosis and Treatment With Simple Home or Office Vision Therapy – 2004 – 2013.
  • Visiting SSS lecturer,  Pacific University College of Optometry -multiple times 1993-2011
